LONG POST ALERT!

After John 3:16, Isaiah 54:17 and Philippians 4:19 the next most popular passage in the bible is proverbs 31. 

 

And that passage has put all Christian women on high jump. I'm wondering how this is possible? All off that in one person? A friend of mine could not wrap her head around and said this has to be at different stages of a woman's life. 

And society doesn't help matters, the load is heavy on women and I'm glad grace is sufficient..

Look at this...

My friend whose marriage is just a little over one year just found out her husband has impregnanted another lady.

Her heart is so broken because it took quite a bit to accept to be a good Christian wife, well he somehow got into trouble and landed in police custody and she still went to get him food, running around to get cash to bail him out.. 

Now this is a man who had erectile dysfunction and she prayed fervently, God heard her prayers and she got pregnant and voila so is someone else.

Should she have prayed for him? She asked me a question "will marriage take me to heaven Tega?" And the honest truth is that it won't BUT as soon as you accepted to sign the dotted lines as a Christian, you are bound to this course. 

It isn't a "shape up or ship out" situation, it is a "I will not fail God in this assignment He has entrusted in my hands"

If she walks out, the other woman moves in, she will have failed God,and allowed someone take her place. He never said trials won't come, He said He will be with us through it and carry us through.

Men please read through the bible, you have a definite job,(Ephesians 5:22-33)

If you really love your wife the way you love yourself, you won't hurt her so badly. Will you walk into burning fire with your clothes drenched in fuel?  

Adultery hurts the wife, brings out all sorts of insecurities in a woman, but trust me it hurts the men more (proverbs7), messes ur destiny up. After your wife don pray tire, God don deliver una, then u go and do re- registration in devils camp. Ehn why?

Heard of a man who had worked in a nice oil company for 30 years, fell into the hands of a strange woman (28 yr old girl) and gave his retirement entitlements/ savings (30 yrs of sacrifice) to her worth 50 million naira. The wife of his youth, who raised 4 children practically alone cos of his absence will have to "stand by her man".

As much as marriage is more a woman's assignment since she's the hearth of the home, men need to take responsibility. There's nothing cool about being philandering.

The bible is our manual, we should follow through in order to function properly according to the manufacturer (God).
