IS THERE REALLY POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

A while ago I was listening to Benny Hinn talk about how he watches some people shout the name of Jesus hysterically until they are blue in the face and nothing seems to happen, and aunty Kathryn khulman will whisper "in Jesus name get out" and the demons will shriek and flee. I felt he was speaking my mind. Me sef don wonder am tire, especially as the bible teaches that the name of Jesus is potent, and all knees shall bow at this name, the name that saves, also for God to say anything you ask in Jesus name you will get. so why na?

Then I also realise that we also shout His name for the stupidest reasons. We can call His name several times a day but in worship and adoration. Like if there's turbulence in the air, instead of that vain random 'Jesus' like say na ya houseboy, say 'Jesus you are Lord', that's worshipping Him. ( remember the kid who cried wolf). We have so watered down the name of Jesus, how do we expect it to work for us? Pour plenty water into okro soup and see if it will still be thick.

Something else is we don't want to do the things that God wants us to do but we want His help to subdue issues of life. 

Imagine leaving ya boyfriends house and having 'time' with him then at night spirit husband comes to have his own time with you, then you wake up and start binding him, to where na? In whose name kwa? Ya daytime boyfriend? 

Submit to God and demons will submit to your authority.
